Unsung Heroes

Each April, in partnership with Prosperity Bank, we honor Lubbock area first responders for
their outstanding dedication and individual performance to the community. Leaders of the
Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock Fire & Rescue, Lubbock Sheriff’s Office, UMC Emergency
Medical Services, and the Texas Department of Public Safety each select a recipient for
recognition.
It’s an inspiring program for the recipients, their families, and our community. We’re proud of
the men and women who serve and protect.
